Hand-carved by Taos native American artist Justin Gomez, this pair of animal carvings makes a perfect addition to southwester decor.
The bear is carved in alabaster and rests on a thunderegg base with feather and bead adornment. Base about 3.3" x 1.8" x 0.15" (85mm x 45mm x 2mm); carving about 3.7" x 2.0" x 0.65" (95mm x 50mm x 15mm)
The buffalo is carved in spotted alabaster and rests on a picture jasper base. Base about 3.0" x 1.8" x 0.25" (75mm x 45mm x 5mm); carving about 3.3" x 2.2" x 0.7" (85mm x55mm x 17mm).
