Muscovite

Muscovite is light-colored mica mineral associated with granites and granite pegmatites and some regionally metamorphic rocks. It commonly occurs in books of hexagonal plates that can easily be separated. Its formula is KAl₂(AlSi₃O₁₀)(OH)₂
