Deep purple fluorite octahedral crystals overgrow green and blue fluorite, on matrix, from the Cooks Peak Mining District, Luna County, New Mexico.  The largest purple partial octahedron is about 1.0" (25mm) on its side.

Small Cabinet Specimen: about 2.4" x 2.9" x 1.6" (60mm x 75mm x 40mm)
