Deep purple fluorite octahedra overgrow green and blue fluorite, with matrix, from the Cooks Peak Mining District, Luna County, New Mexico. The largest partial purple octahedron is about 25mm (1.0") on its side.

Miniature Specimen: about 60mm x 60mm x 45mm (2.4" x 2.4" x 1.8").
