Deep purple octahedral fluorite crystals overgrow green and blue fluorite, from the Cooks Peak Mining District, Luna County, New Mexico. The largest purple partial octahedron is about 30mm (1.2") on its side.

Small Cabinet Specimen: about 70mm x 100mm x 55mm (2.8" x 3.9" x 2.2").
