Description

Chrysocolla cabochon wrapped fashionably in a silver wire by Taos county local artist, dealer and collector Mike Fine. 

Geologic

Chrysocolla is a secondary copper mineral usually found in rounded or botryoidal masses. Color is commonly brilliant cyan and can be confused with turquoise.

Chemical composition: Cu2-xAlx(H2-xSi2O5)(OH)4 · nH2O; Hardness: 2.5-3.5

Metaphysical

Chrysocolla emits a very calming vibration and can assist in having patience and being gentle with oneself during trying times. It helps stabilize emotions, refine discretion, and bring a tranquil presence into the home. Chrysocolla absorbs negativity while purifying its environment and should be energetically cleansed monthly.
